The devastation caused by floods due to the current monsoon in Pakistan is still going on. Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab have been severely affected, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan have also suffered massive losses.
According to the data from the Pakistan National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA), 33 million population of 81 districts have been affected.
Our escue and relief activities are ongoing in the flood-affected areas of Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab on a large scale. Flood water is still standing in the affected areas as far the sight can reach. Medical facilities are being provided with continuous supply of two meals a day and clean water. While the work of delivering dry ration to the villages in flood water is also going on.
